Tomorrow, April 19, a general academic protest will take place, which involves picketing the Cabinet of Ministers and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Requirements to the Government and Parliament:
1. Amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2016” taking into account the decision of the relevant committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to increase the expenditures of the Academies of Sciences, in particular: – NAS of Ukraine – by 725.43 million UAH; – National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences – by 27.45 million UAH. – National Academy of Medical Sciences – by 81.37 million UAH. -National Academy of Agrarian Sciences – by 89.3 million UAH.
2. During the preparation of the draft State Budget of Ukraine for 2017, to implement Articles 36 and 48 of the Law of Ukraine “On Scientific and 3 Scientific and Technical Activities” regarding “Payment and Stimulation of the Work of a Scientific Worker” and “Financial Support of Scientific and Scientific and Technical Activities” taking into account the stages specified in Article 1 of the “Final and Transitional Provisions”.
