On October 10, 2024, employees of the Department of History and Sociology of Science and Technology: Head of the Department, Doctor of Historical Sciences A.S. Lytvynko and Candidate of Historical Sciences, Senior Researcher Yu.I. Mushkalo took part in a creative meeting of representatives of a number of leading scientific and educational institutions with the Director of the O.V. Palladin Institute of Biochemistry of the NAS of Ukraine, Academician of the NAS and NAMS of Ukraine Serhiy Komisarenko. The meeting was held at the initiative of the Department of Ecology and Agrarian Sciences of the Kyiv Academy of Sciences at the O.V. Palladin Institute of Biochemistry of the NAS of Ukraine.
Before the meeting, Candidate of Biological Sciences, leading researcher at the Institute of Biochemistry named after O.V. Palladin of the NAS of Ukraine, Head of the "Ecology" Section of the Department of Ecology and Agrarian Sciences of the Kyiv Academy of Sciences Volodymyr Nazarenko conducted a tour of the Memorial Museum of Academician Alexander Palladin, spoke about the founding and development of the Institute of Biochemistry, which will celebrate its 100th anniversary next year.

Academician Serhiy Komisarenko warmly greeted the students, scientists and teachers and reported on the planned official events dedicated to the anniversary of the Institute. A creative conversation was held on the outstanding achievements of the life sciences. An appeal was made to students and young people to take part in the preparation of the celebration of the Institute's anniversary. Among the planned events are the International Youth Scientific Conference on the History of the Development of the Areas in Which the Institute's Employees Worked and Are Working, as well as participation in the All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference of Young Historians of Science, Technology and Education and Specialists, which is annually jointly held by the State Institution "Dobrov Institute for Scientific and Technological Potential and Science History Studies of the NAS of Ukraine", the Institute of Biochemistry named after O. V. Palladin of the NAS of Ukraine, the Memorial Museum of Academician Alexander Palladin and other institutions.
The event was attended by: Head of the Department of Ecology and Agrarian Sciences of the Kyiv Academy of Sciences O.M. Isachenko and methodologist A.D. Nikitina, Head of the Biology Department of the National Ecological and Naturalistic Center for Student Youth V.F. Komendantov, Head of the Biology Laboratory of the Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth N.Yu. Morgun and the head of the "Young Botanists" group N.O. Korsak, deputy director of the lyceum No. 155 in Kyiv L.V. Chernobrovkina, biology teacher of the Mykhailo Dragomanov lyceum S.V. Nazarenko with a group of his students.
