Meeting of the Bureau of the Presidium of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine on ‘Developing agricultural science through public–private partnerships’
On September 17, 2025, a meeting of the Bureau of the Presidium of the NAS of Ukraine was held in the premises of the Presidium of the NAS of Ukraine, dedicated to the topic “Development of agricultural science on the platform of public-private partnership”. The meeting was attended by the head of the CITR, candidate of economic sciences Olena Vasilyeva, and the chief researcher of the CITR, doctor of economic sciences, prof. Vyacheslav Solovyov. During the discussion, the Institute representatives noted that modern economic development is impossible without productive interaction between government, science and business. This is the so-called “triple helix” model, where science becomes the connecting link capable of ensuring innovative relations between the state and business. However, such connections are impossible without developing a system of public-private partnership. We thank our colleagues for the invitation and look forward to further cooperation!

The International Symposium ‘Evaluating research results in today’s conditions: evolving approaches to cognitive, socioeconomic and management aspects’ took place in the Conference Hall of the Presidium of the NAS of Ukraine in Kyiv on 28 November 2024. It honoured the distinguished scientist B.Ye. Paton, Member of the NAS of Ukraine and its President from 1962 to 2020.
The symposium was opened by the President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Academician Anatoliy Zagorodniy. In his speech, he emphasized the need for effective use of state resources and the importance of objective assessment of the quality of scientific activity. He also emphasized the value of the experience of evaluating scientific institutions in Ukraine and international experience.
